Figure 5a
Logging data: Results of M0023B. Ac. Cal. is the acoustic caliper as derived from the ABI40. Mech. Cal is the mechanical caliper as derived from the 3 arms caliper tool, TGR is the Total Natural Gamma Ray (open hole), ABI amp is a virtual (acoustic hardness) image of the borehole wall using the ABI40 but based only on the reflection amplitude (white is acoustically hard, green is soft, black is pore space), ABI TT is a virtual image of the borehole wall based on the acoustic travel time only, OBI image is a color-calibrated digital image of the borehole wall, Deep Res, is deep investigation formation resistivity, Medium Res. is medium depth investigation formation resistivity, Vp is compressional wave velocity of the formation using incident frequencies of 10 KHz, K conc. is the concentration of Potassium measured with the Spectral Gamma Ray probe in Bq/kg, U conc. is the concentration of Uranium measured with the Spectral Gamma Ray probe in Bq/kg, Th conc. is the concentration of Thorium measured with the Spectral Gamma Ray probe in Bq/kg, Fluid T is the temperature (degrees Celcius) of the borehole fluid only, Fluid C is the electrical conductivity (in microSiemens/meter) of the borehole fluid in only, Fluid Ph is the Ph of the borehole fluid only. See text for discussion.
